The VISOID add-in works with Revit 2025, 2026, and 2027 on Windows. One download covers all three — Revit automatically loads the right version.
Install
1. Unzip the file. You'll get a file named Visoid.bundle.
2. Move that Visoid.bundle file into: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\ is hidden by default. Paste the path into the File Explorer address bar and press Enter. This installs VISOID for everyone on the PC. To install just for yourself, use
ProgramData%AppData%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\ instead.
3. Restart Revit. Open a 3D view — you'll find VISOID on the ribbon.
First Run
Click the VISOID button to open the panel, then link to your visoid.com account. From any 3D view you can export the model straight to VISOID.
Notes
- Windows may warn that the download is from an "unknown publisher" when you unzip it. This is expected — the add-in isn't code-signed yet — and it's safe to keep. Choose Keep / More info → Run anyway if prompted.
- Revit must be closed while you add, replace, or remove the folder.
